Yes! I have extensive training with Photoshop, and color changes and item removal can typically be done to customize the photo to your preferences and needs.
Do I have to provide all the photos?
Personal photos will need to be supplied by the client, but I typically supplement imagery with high-quality stock photos to ensure a professional-looking website. The average cost for images on a basic website usually does not exceed fifty dollars.
Will I be able to maintain my website myself?
I design with you in mind, and try to keep things as user-friendly as possible. Changes can be made to images and text, however, more extensive customization may require additional assistance. For those who don’t want the stress of keeping things up to date, I can provide site maintenance for an additional fee.
How long does a website take to design?
That varies on the complexity and number of pages, the desired customizations, and the amount of photo manipulation and preparation required. Depending on the number of projects I’m working on, the speed at which feedback is supplied, and the nature of the website, an average site will typically take somewhere between 3-6 weeks to complete.
I’m not good with colors and fonts – can you help?
Yes! I will put together a website that utilizes harmonious colors and fonts so that your site flows seamlessly and best represents your personal style and message.
How much interaction do we have during the project?
That varies by the project, but I understand how difficult it can be to connect with different time zones and busy schedules. I typically ask some general questions to get an idea of how to proceed, and then send samples and additional questions to further hone the design. I’ve had clients who have preferred to communicate via email without a single phone call, and those who preferred to touch base via phone or direct messaging. I’m happy to work with you in the way that best meets your needs.
What if I want to build the website myself, but just need some ideas on where to start or guidance on how to use WordPress?
